February 1, 2014 Meeting

This month is "home grown." Some of our Wesley Chapel/New Tampa group attended October's FWA state conference in Orlando. We took lots of notes, collected lots of resources and information, and we're going to share what we learned with the group. Topics will include:

* social networking -- how and why authors should be using Twitter, Facebook, Linked In, etc.

* marketing -- what's worth spending money on, recommendations for effective use of your time and money
* blogging -- resources, how to woo bloggers to review your book
* screenplays -- the inside scoop
* self-publishing -- resources and suggestions
* writing contests -- how and why we should enter them

January 4, 2014 - No Meeting

There will be no FWA meeting in January.  Looking forward to seeing you all at the February Meeting.
